Question 1: What AI models does ContentSteps use?

We use two tiers of AI models.

First, for FREE users we use Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite model. It's fast and works really well with our step-by-step processes and doesn't require a huge amount of resources to run.

FREE users can also choose from a number of other models:

- Open AI GPT 4o, GPT 5 Nano

- Google Gemini 2.5 Flash

- Open AI GPT OSS 20b, Open AI GPT OSS 120b (processed by Groq)

- Meta Llama 4 Maverick & Llama 4 Scout (processed by Groq)

- DeepSeek R1 (processed by Groq)

- XAi Grok 3 Mini

PRO users also get access to a number of premium models:

- Open AI GPT 5

- Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4 & Opus 4 & 4.1

- Google Gemini 2.5 Pro

- Perplexity Sonar Reasoning & Sonar Reasoning Pro

- XAi Grok 4

From time-to-time we will add new models to both the FREE and PRO tiers to ensure that you have access to the best models for your work with ContentSteps.

Question 2: Can I switch between models frequently?

Yes, you can switch your default model for each profile you create as often as you like. To make it easier to choose a model that works for you, we have a tool called Compare Steps where you can compare the output of all the models you have access to against each other. Then you can choose your favourite and set it as your default.

Question 3: Is my private information shared with AI platforms?

Your private information isn't shared with the platforms we use. All requests are sent through an API that is secure and hashed and totally anonymised. The platforms will only know it's Content Steps requesting a response, not you. We always recommend that you do not share any deeply confidential company or security information on our platform, though. While we comply with all international security protocols, security is ultimately your repsonsibility.

Question 4: Can I get help if I get stuck?

We're not a big company, so it can be hard to get to everyone by phone and email requests. However we have created a Support form in the app as well as a Suggestion Box for you if there's a feature you'd like to see. We try to resolve all support requests within 24 hours - and often resolve them sooner! However, during busy periods it may take us a little longer to get back to you.

Question 5: Can I post straight to social networks?

No, we leave it to you to do the posting so you have better control over your content. We concentrate on helping you to write better posts, scripts and content pieces so you can get on with the work you really want to do.

Question 6: What currency do we bill in?

We bill in Australian dollars. Currency conversion will occur for those outside Australia and may incur some fees from your bank or payment provider. We use Stripe to process payments.

Question 7: Are you really Australian?

Oh yeah. Solopreneur Systems makes this app. It's a subsidiary of the Australian Digital Education & Retail Group Pty Ltd. We're located in Woolner, a suburb of Darwin in the Northern Territory. Right now we're a tiny team, but we're hoping to grow more as our software gains more momentum. Some of our other businesses are Clickstarter Education, Speakstarter Education and our Director is Dante St James.
